Olivet Boys & Girls Club of Reading & Berks County

Advanced Comfort Specialists donated $3,500 and over 250 hygiene items to the Olivet Boys & Girls Club, supporting their Hubs of Hope initiative, which provides essential resources to local youth and families in need.

K9 for Cameryn

Advanced Comfort Specialists donated $2,000 to the Shillington Fire Department’s “K9 for Cameryn” campaign to help fund a service dog for Cameryn Huber, a young boy with Autism and other challenges. The service dog is specially trained to assist Cameryn, providing him with comfort and support in daily life.

Animal Rescue League of Berks County

Gavin Milligan, Business Development Manager at Advanced Comfort Specialists, presented a sponsorship check to Stacey Cole, Chief Development Officer at the Animal Rescue League of Berks County, covering adoption fees for Bodhi, the dog pictured. This sponsorship aims to reduce shelter time and help pets find loving homes faster.

Our approach to economic development involves meeting community needs in housing, industry, and infrastructure while preserving the area’s unique character.

Chad Milligan, President – Serving on the City of Reading’s HVAC board, Chad collaborates with industry leaders and government representatives to ensure high standards for HVAC practices, regulatory compliance, and sustainable growth in our community.

Gavin Milligan, Business Development Manager – Gavin actively supports economic revitalization as a member of the Marketing Committee for the Reading Regional Airport Authority. Additionally, as a Planning Commissioner for Maidencreek Township, he plays a key role in overseeing urban planning and promoting responsible development within one of Berks County’s largest townships.

Youth Advocacy

Supporting our local youth is central to our mission. We believe that every child, regardless of background, deserves opportunities to grow and thrive. Through partnerships and sponsorships, we help young people access resources that encourage them to become positive, productive members of society.

Our support of Olivet Boys & Girls Club allows us to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families in Reading and Berks County. Olivet offers athletics, after-school programming, summer camps, and more. Chad Milligan’s own experiences as a ‘Club kid’ inspire our commitment to youth advocacy, and Gavin is a key advisor to Olivet, serving as a member of the Development, Marketing, and Event Committee.

Education & Workforce Development

Investing in the next generation of the workforce, especially within the HVAC industry, is essential to our community’s continued success. We believe in empowering students to pursue fulfilling, high-demand careers by providing guidance, resources, and real-world experience.

Our team is deeply involved with Berks Career & Technology Center (BCTC) and Berks Technical Institute (BTI), where we focus on improving and expanding access to HVAC education. Gavin Milligan serves as the Board President of the BCTC Education Foundation, collaborating with both private and government entities to secure funding for program improvements and scholarships. As Chair of the HVAC program’s Occupational Advisory Committee, he works with the instructor and fellow industry leaders to oversee the budget, update the curriculum, and ensure the program aligns with current workforce demands and safety standards.

Today I once again got professional service on my own boiler. Dave was thorough tuning and cleaning top to bottom. Every aspect was addressed. I have worked with Advanced Comfort on many installations and repairs when I was a Construction Specifier with a Reading Housing Agency. I could trust Chad and Paul to give reasonable prices and do good jobs. That made my job a lot easier. Thanks again!

On one of the coldest days when we figured getting someone would be hard an after over an hour dealing with another company your service was pleasant and prompt considering the circumstances.

Advance Comfort is the absolute best !!!!! We had them replace our heating & cooling system. They gave us so many options. Something in every price range. Even the top of the line was quite affordable. They made sure we were comfortable while our unit was down , even in the 90 degree temps. They really went above and beyond. It was very much appreciated!!! I’ll never go anywhere else.

Pete was amazing. I had multiple issues with my furnace and Pete stayed until the issue was resolved and the furnace was up and running again. His boss Paul and Dave supported him throughout the process. Great teamwork and persistence to figure out my issue!

Our oil burner was serviced for the season. The system was cleaned and set up to run at maximum efficiency. Paul was great. He answered all my questions and clearly presented all of my options going forward. He also provided prompt, courteous service. They’ve gained a lifetime customer.
